Our innovative low conflict divorce process in cases with children, like our other low conflict services, is designed for people of all economic levels who want an alternative to the exorbitant costs usually associated with dissolving a marriage with children. It is also for those who do not want to, or simply do not have the time to navigate the paper and labor intensive "do-it-yourself" maze. When you engage us, an experienced divorce LAWYER prepares all your paperwork, including the child support computations and worksheets. That way, if there is anything about your agreement that will not pass the scrutiny of the court, we will alert you to it in advance so that appropriate accommodation can be made before the case is filed. We then forward the paperwork to you for your signatures and then WE file it all with the court, assuring that it is filed correctly. Document preparation services like "We The People" don't do that. And we stand behind our work in the unlikely event of a problem. Your case will be final in just over 90 days, the minimum time allowed by law. Our basic charge to prepare all of your divorce paperwork, insure that it meets all of the court's requirements, AND to file it with the court is $399 *. This is a FLAT or fixed fee, meaning that we do not charge based upon time spent.* YOU KNOW IN ADVANCE THE TOTAL COST. In our continuing effort to be as accommodating as possible, we offer you the choice of three convenient ways to provide us the information we need in order to prepare your divorce documents for you... <> We can schedule an in-person meeting in our offices; <> We can mail or fax you our simple one-page questionnaire; <> You can complete our fast and convenient online questionnaire located on this web site and submit it to us electronically from the comfort of your own home. Whichever way you go, we'll have your paperwork completed and on its way to you for signatures within about 24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. Once you return it to us, we take care of getting your case properly filed and under way. If you and your spouse are willing to cooperate but need help formulating your agreement, we can help you with that too. Mr. Calder is an experienced mediator. More often than not, a brief mediation session is all that is needed for most couples to resolve any outstanding issues. There is a modest additional time-based charge for this service.
