Q: What if we start out our case as Uncontested and later one of us decides to contest?
A: Once your uncontested paperwork is signed and filed with the court your case will
proceed to its conclusion unless one party or the other disavows the agreements set forth in
their paperwork before the divorce becomes final. If that happens, plan on your case
reverting to a contested posture. Our involvement with the case would then cease, since we
neutral and do not represent either party. You would each have to chose whether to retain
legal counsel or self representation from that point forward.
