Q: Will we need to appear in court?
A: If you do not have children under 19 years of age, you will not need to appear in court.
Couples with children of this marriage under 19 will need to attend an Initial Status
Conference at the courthouse which is an orientation and scheduling meeting. Your final
court date will be given to you at that conference. Then you both will need to attend the
final court date at the end of the 90 days, whereupon your divorce will be finalized.
